Hello, my name is Angel Ambrose, and I am a Family Nurse Practitioner. My hobbies consist of spending time with my family, especially outdoors. I love to read, to cook, traveling to new places, and learning about new things.
I obtained my RN training through AVTEC, when they had an allied health program in Anchorage, AK. Shortly after, I moved to Nome, AK and decided to get my BSN, so I enrolled with Walden University. I was able to take my classes online, and get a global perspective, while having my clinical locally, with the population I chose to serve. Afterwards, I decided to continue my education and obtain my Advanced Degree the same way; moving to Anchorage to diversify my clinical experience. During my nursing career, I’ve worked in corrections, Public Health, forensic nursing, emergency nursing, juvenile nursing care, and acute psychiatric nursing. I believe in equal access to healthcare for my patients regardless where they may be in their healthcare journey.
